The Government of Nunavut (GN) is committed to protecting personal privacy. Information is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the provisions of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy (ATIPP) Act.

Information in the custody or under the control of the Government of Nunavut is accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

The Government of Nunavut uses software programs to monitor network traffic and identify unauthorized attempts to access, or otherwise damage, the network or information stored on the network. We do not attempt to link an IP address or web page visits with the identity of individuals using our site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.

Information collected from individual visitors is used by GN employees to respond to requests and to ensure the security of this system. We only share your information with a government department if your web inquiry relates to that department. We do not use the information to create individual profiles and do not disclose this information outside the territorial government.
