Increase of Basic Grant under FANS

Nunavut-wide 45 seconds
Starting this fall, eligible students may now receive up to $6,855 per year for the Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) program’s basic grant for tuition, fees and books. This is an increase of more than $3,000 to the previous basic grant amounts.
Information about eligibility for the basic grant and all other FANS benefits is available on our website at http://www.gov.nu.ca/familyservices, and by contacting FANS at 1-877-860-0680 or by email at @email.
The Nunavut Student Funding Handbook and FANS application forms are available on our website, by contacting FANS, visiting your regional Family Services office, and through many schools and Nunavut Arctic College learning centres.
Remember to apply early for FANS. The deadline for the 2015 fall semester is July 15!
