Printmaking and Embroidery Workshop

Do you live in Baker Lake? Would you like to learn more about printmaking and embroidery? The Department of Culture and Heritage, the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) and the Jessie Oonark Centre are organizing two to three days printmaking and embroidery workshops from March 13 to March 26, free of charge.

Workshops feature experienced instructors, and will teach about the printmaking process from start to finish and how to make embroidered products from art to art production.

There will be a maximum of seven participants per workshop, and all materials and tools will be provided. A community exhibition of participants’ work will take place on March 26.

If you are interested in attending, please contact David Ford at the Jessie Oonark Centre at (867)793-2428 or @email.
